取り木部分の切り離しと、整枝、植替え。 The shimpaku is repotted and an unnecessary branch is removed by air-layering. |

1996年10月に入手。 山取木から取り木で作出された素材で、天然のジンが見所。 Purchased it 1996/10. The material which was done layering, the jin is good formation. |

14. 3ヶ月後、取り木部分を取り外します。 取り木の切り離しには、時期が早過ぎるのですが、整枝の作業も控えているので、切り離すことを、優先します。 |

16. ビニールの包みを、外したところ。 |

17. 予想よりも少ない発根でした。 |

18. 切り離した部分です。この冬頃まで、待ってジンの加工をします。 |

19. 取り木した素材は、動かぬように固定しておきます。 |
 |
20. 取り木後、新たな樹形構想を、立てます。 普段から、気に入った樹形の写真などを、集めておいて参考にします。
自然界の樹形などは、周りの地形も同時に記録しておくと、樹形構想に大変役立ちます。

21. 針金を掛けて、整枝します。 この時期は、表皮が柔らかいので、軽く掃除して、不要な胴吹き芽を、慎重に掻き取ります。 |

22. 小枝を広げるように、針金を掛けていきます。 |

23. 全体に針金を掛け終われば、整枝・剪定して枝先を整えます。 |
 |
24. 今回の作業で、4 年間の改作作業が、一応終わります。 |
